Product Description

 

Hony 9045 is a mixture of high molecular weight silicone elastomers in cyclopentylsiloxanes. It is a transparent to translucent gel that is often used as a thickener for water-in-silicone formulations. It is easy to formulate and leaves the skin feeling shiny, silky smooth and non-greasy. At the same time, it can also enhance the beauty of volatile silicone oil, reduce the viscosity of the formula, and fast absorption. It can be chilled to absorb oil and improve the retention of the fragrance.
Usage:The oil phase is added to Hony 9045 by simple mixing without post-shearing. Hony 9045 thickens formulations when processed at room temperature. It can be formulated in oil-in-water emulsions, silicone-in-water emulsions, water-in-oil emulsions or water-free products. For ease of use, dimethylpolysiloxane or cyclomethylsiloxane can be added to reduce the viscosity of Hony 9045. Hony 9045 is dispersible in a variety of liquid oils. Since the elastomers are relatively stable, Hony 9045 can be heated for a short period of time.
